	Hob's Bay Hob's Bay is one of the main neighborhoods of Metropolis as well as the name of the bay itself. Located across the West Metropolis River from the central New Troy district, it connects to the mainland by way of the Hobsneck Bridge. Hob's Bay was where Myra Allen lived with her orphan charges, including Keith Robert White. During the "Fall of Metropolis", Hob's Bay was just as adversely affected by Lex Luthor's sonic missile attack as every other part of the city. Shortly thereafter, a cybernetic robot terrorized the area, killing Myra Allen. [1]. This was also the sight of a quonset tent designed to study those suffering from sleep disorders. 	Queensland Park Queensland Park is one of the six boroughs of Metropolis and is primarily a suburban community consisting of single-family homes and brownstones. It is bordered by the West River to the north, and by the Atlantic Ocean on the east. The Eastern district is a neighborhood known as "Old City", and was established as a Dutch settlement in 1634 by explorer Paul De Vries. At the time, the settlement was known as De Vries Village but changed it's name to Elizabethtown in the 1700s during British occupation. At this time, Queensland Park grew into a thriving seaport community with a central railroad network branching out to the surrounding areas. During the Revolutionary War, an American patriot from North Bridge named Peter Vernon destroyed the British navy's access to New Troy, thus delaying their advance to the mainland. The Vernon Memorial Park was erected commemorating the event. After the war, Elizabethtown changed it's name to Old City. Queensland Park was the location of the original Daily Planet printing plant. During the "Battle for Metropolis", Daily Planet managing editor Perry White relocated all of the newspaper's staff from the main building to the printing plant. 	Suicide Slum This is the slum part of Metroplis, the bad part of it. Suicide Slums is a neighborhood in Metropolis that has been known to have a lot of crime and corruption. It is a down market area of Metropolis with the highest crime rates but also the lowest property prices Suicide Slums,aka Southside, aka The Simon Project (in the Post-Crisis) continuity, but most notably, Suicide Slum, has been at various times the stomping ground of several superheroes, including the Guardian (who protected the Newsboy Legion) and Black Lightning.
